Evolving to Serve You Better

Hartland, NB, May 11, 2022 – Day & Ross continues its strategic investments in technology, processes, equipment, and people. A key element of this transformational journey is an upgrade to its ability to electronically connect to customers through API and EDI integration solutions, scheduled for May 2023.

EDI enhancements will implement mandatory fields for the Load Tender (204) and Bill of Lading (211) transaction sets. Customers will see significant benefits such as streamlined transactions, elevated data interchange to an industry standard, consistent and timely shipment management, and more frequent updates.

The transition to new APIs will offer customers a new service and additional capabilities: Get Invoice, the ability to cancel and modify shipments, and the capability to provide commodity and Dangerous Goods (DG) details when creating an order.

“This upgrade is a significant milestone in our evolution as we continue to invest in technology that supports a seamless connection to our customers for critical business functions. We remain committed to developing adaptable solutions that allow for future growth,” said Jeff Schnarr, Chief Information Officer.

To help its customers prepare for this change and ensure their technical teams have all the information required for a smooth transition, Day & Ross has launched an Information Hub where it will post frequent updates. Learn more about how Day & Ross is evolving to serve its customers better.
