We are excited to announce that we’re launching a Driver Internship Program. The competency-based program, currently open only to New Brunswick residents, offers tuition reimbursement and a 12-month paid driving contract with a tiered approach to driving assignments, additional training, and ongoing mentorship from a certified Day & Ross Driver Trainer.

“This initiative is aligned with our goal of attracting younger drivers,” said Doug Tingley, Day & Ross Chief Operating Officer, Canada. “We’re proud to partner with Trans-Canada College in Moncton, NB, Trucking HR Canada, and Workplace NB in laying out the framework for building a new generation of drivers who can receive the proper training to join the trucking industry.”

The program is open to New Brunswick residents who are at least 21 years of age, eligible to work in the province, have a valid non-commercial driver’s license, at least six months driving experience, have a clean driver’s abstract without any active suspensions, and pass a physical, drug, and background check are eligible to apply. Military veterans honourably discharged are welcome to apply.
