Restricted & Prohibited Articles
Not all shipments are created equal. It’s important to know which goods require special approval before we pick them up and which items we don’t ship at all. As the shipper, it’s your responsibility to ensure your shipment complies with regulatory standards and Day & Ross requirements.

Restricted & Prohibited Articles: Domestic Shipments

Used Goods

Certain articles and commodities, such as household goods, personal effects or other used goods have a higher risk of damage as they travel through a typical freight distribution network. It’s industry practice for these items to be treated as “At Shipper’s Risk” (your own risk) as they require special handling and are not appropriate for a general freight environment.
